Audi EV Maintenance Guide | Denver | Boulder

Audi Electric charging

You want your Audi EV to perform at its best for as long as possible so you can drive with confidence in Boulder and Denver. Fortunately, electric vehicles are easier to maintain than their gasoline counterparts, so keeping up with Audi EV routine maintenance is not a hassle. Thanks to a simpler design and fewer moving parts, you'll be spending less time at the service center and more time enjoying the open road.

In our Audi EV maintenance guide, we explore some of the key tasks that are part of the Audi electric car maintenance schedule.

Audi Electric Car Maintenance Schedule

The Audi electric car maintenance schedule helps you stay on top of Audi EV routine maintenance. You do not want your vehicle to miss out on the service it requires in Aurora.

  • Battery Checks - If you drive an EV in Fort Collins, we highly recommend regular battery checks. This is true even though EV batteries deliver exceptional longevity. You can expect to get at least 100,000 miles out of your EV battery, but keeping tabs on it will help you catch small problems before they create serious issues.
  • Brake Fluid Replacement - You won't need to bring your EV in for regular oil changes, but you will have to replace other fluids to keep your car in peak condition. This includes brake fluid. Be sure to have your brake fluid replaced every 3-5 years.
  • Coolant System Maintenance - Some EVs contain special thermal management or cooling systems to improve battery performance. Your EV will need coolant system maintenance if that is the case. These service intervals vary by make and model, so we recommend consulting your owner's manual
  • Tire Rotation - Tires are an often overlooked safety component of your vehicle, and tire care is even more essential when you drive an EV. This is because EVs are heavier, and the added weight of the battery pack can cause quicker tire wear. Make an appointment for a tire rotation every 5,000 to 10,000 miles.
  • Wheel Alignment - Another important tire care task is wheel alignment. This task should happen every 15,000 miles to improve mile range and reduce tire tread wear.
  • Air Filter Replacement - The air filter in your vehicle helps to cut down on the amount of pollen, road dust, and dirt that get inside of the cabin. Reduce these contaminants by replacing the filter every 2-3 years. Some specialty filters can go as long as 5 years before needing replacement.
